Thesis: Enzymatic Catalysis in Microemulsions
Investigated enzyme reactions in non aqueous systems, mainly focused on microemulsion based systems. Microemulsions with different structures: reversed micelles, micelles and bicontinous phases were studied to reveal the effect of enzyme kinetics. The model system HLADH was used with co-factor regeneration. A system was established were the products could be conveniently separated from the system, and allowing for the re-use of the expensive enzyme and co-factors
