Design, develop, code, test, QA, manage and customize online EDC/CTMS in compliance with FDA 21CFR11 standards according to protocol and client specified requirements. Manage client relationships throughout the study lifecycle consulting on all study related aspects, including study, CRF and database design to ensure accurate and valid data, creation of reports, mid-study analysis, monitoring, and data export. Assist clients in the development of data management strategy and plans.

Implemented a strategic systems-based approach to the delivery of medical and social support services for people living with HIV/AIDs throughout the state of Texas by leading a professional staff of 17 and collaborating with major local health departments. Staff included: 2 data manager, 2 biostatisticians, 1 epidemiologist, 2 nurse monitors, 2 trainers, 1 quality assurance specialist, and 7 project managers. Coordinated and authored the Comprehensive Plan of the Delivery of HIV Services, the HIV Statewide Coordinated Statement of Need, the Services Section of the Annual HIV Legislative Report, and the Services and Unmet Needs Section of the Epidemiology Profile for HIV in Texas. Oversaw the data collection and analysis of state-wide data on people living with HIV and AIDS. Used this data in multiple reports and to educate constituents. Presented data at multiple local, state-wide and regional conferences. Successfully submitted annual renewals for more than $100 million in federal grants and oversaw its distribution. Budget: $24 million.

Coordinated strategic systems-oriented collaborative approaches among partner organizations to reduce the incidence of diabetes and obesity. These efforts resulted in the community-wide adoption of common standards of care and patient communication approaches; a joint conference of the AHA and ADA; and corporate and school-based initiatives and policy changes. As a result of the quality of the multi-year analysis I conducted, selected to collaborate and consult with the CDC on the development of a System Dynamics Model for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention as a subject matter expert and data manager. This resulted in an award-winning peer-reviewed article of the year publication. Helped plan the Diabetes Summit, authored the Central Texas Strategic Plan for the Prevention and Management of Diabetes 2008-2010, co-chaired the Central Texas Diabetes Collaborative. Implemented social marketing and general marketing campaigns along with delivering community-based bilingual training to increase awareness, educate and change behavior.

As Evaluation Consultant and Web Designer (2006-2007), consulted on data collection, evaluation strategies, requirement development and design of the online data capture website for the WIC Nutrition Education and Breastfeeding Plan Annual Survey. Created the database and coded the web site using HTML and Cold Fusion.

As Researcher/Writer/Editor, researched and revised the Strategic Plan for the Prevention of Obesity in Texas 2005-2010, a project commissioned by the Texas Department of State Health Services. Developed a multi-level comprehensive strategic plan implemented statewide. Conducted and analyzed interviews, focus groups, and surveys. Include conducting a 2 day conference of stake holders to assist in the evaluation and prioritization of strategies.

* Director, Integrated Functions (budget: $8 million) * Served as project manager for integration of mission critical cross-functional marketing, operations, and IT efforts. * Developed and implemented IT infrastructure and ePresence (multi-language Web site, eNewsletter, online registration system, eInvitation management system, volunteer recruitment system, online delegate networking system and blogging). Designed, implemented and integrated the infrastructure of the central marketing database. Developed specifications and oversaw the management of the online delegate registration database system. * Sponsor relationship management. Responsible for contract negotiation and vendor management. * Developed and proposed the initial budget for the project.

As Lecturer in the Department of Science, Technology and Society, taught writing intensive active learning classes using interactive discussions to teach strategic thinking and critical analysis skills while exploring the implications of emerging technologies in business, science and technology. Students learned to develop executive presentation, position papers, persuasive high level emails, and poster presentations.

* Developed and executed all local, regional and statewide strategic marketing plans including the development of all print and Web marketing collateral, intranet end extranet. * Developed and implemented evaluation measures and program assessments, analyzed results and made recommendations to senior management and board of directors. * Responsible for external communications with constituents and media. Provided support in the area of customer inquiries, customer relations, external affairs and communications. * Managed internal communications and intranet.

As Teaching Assistant: Adaptive Physiology Laboratory, Department of Biological Sciences, instructed laboratory research methodology, protocol development, data collection, data analysis, scientific reporting and presentation preparation. Taught various modules on using adaptive physiologies which simulated human tissues. Educated students regarding primary research, Institutional Review Board (IRB) regulations, GCP/ICH and FDA guidelines.

As Wellness Program Management Assistant, at 3M, assisted with the wellness program project management, marketing, program development, needs assessments, internal corporate relations, program expansion, benchmarking, quarterly reporting. Responsible for data management, maintenance and analysis. Final reports were submitted to the vice president of human resources.
