About
I will only put my name next to the best. If you are looking for a strong closer to develop your product/service/business, tell me what makes you and your product better (or tougher) than the rest. Sales/Business Development is my field that I love and will return to. I got my start peddling Thin Mints in second grade. When I was of age (18), I served beer and fare at a smokey pub where I gained valuable experience, and a lot of grit. While there are many aspects of Sales/Business Development that get my fists pounding and feet stomping, I am most proud to get behind good products and services that provided both tangible and intangible value to clients. Similar to the way Forrest Gump started running, in 2020, I shifted my focus towards reading, writing, strategy work, nutrition and overall health/wellness. It's been an unexpected, yet interesting time to learn and observe. I discovered some hard truths during the pandemic and am on a journey towards redemption and recovery. Social media is too a lot of things for me. This is the only account that I've ever had and previously used only to connect and message directly with clients. When my work stopped, I continued to log on to celebrate birthdays and congratulate milestones. In the beginning of 2023, I started reading posts, posting and connecting with others based on posts and comments. It's been a surprisingly amazing way to interact about shared interests/goals/projects. I'm not pitching myself, a product or service. My only agenda is to learn. Connection is something that we all need more of. At the moment, it is limited in my locality, so Linkedin is supplementing. Knowledge IS Power. I'm learning a lot and am happy to share anything that could be of help to someone else. Please reach out directly. I lived and worked in Manhattan for many years, but have been nomadic for the past few. Fellow readers, please connect! A few of my favorite authors (in no particular order): Margaret Atwood John Updike John Steinbeck Jon Krakauer Greg McKeown Jeannette Walls Kurt Vonnegut Ayn Rand Donna Tart Marisha Pessl John Kennedy Toole Maya Angelou Po Bronson Paulo Coelho Caroline Fraser Upton Sinclair Carlos Ruiz Zafón Jeffrey Eugenides Daniel Quinn Truman Capote Gillian Flynn Steve Martin S.E. Hinton Jonathan Safran Foer And of course, the woman that led me from childhood to girlhood to womanhood: Judy Blume
