As a veterinary assistant, I helped with surgeries by sterilizing packs, prepping animals for surgery, and sometimes even scrubbing in. I helped with client work by putting what was done for the pet in a computer and running blood work. I also was a receptionist answering phones and cashing people out.

As a pet sitter/dog walker, I take care of the pets while the owner is on vacation or has long hours at work. The animals will get food and water, medications administered if necessary, a clean litter box, and dogs can get exercise through walks or fetch or they can just get some attention during my time there. As a dog trainer, I do private in home sessions for now for puppy training, obedience, and some behavior modification. My goal is to help dog and owner create a bond through training and keep from having behavior problems that cause more dogs to be surrendered to rescues and/or euthanized.
