I took part in the Great North Run and raised money for Cancer Research UK.

Supported primary school teachers through assisted supervision to classroom activities, working with children to develop their math’s, reading and writing. Provided motivation and encouragement to children in the classroom to achieve their best. Key professional qualities demonstrated through this role were patience and enthusiasm in aid of the care and support required for children to excel. Additionally, assisted teachers with marking and giving constructive student feedback.

Assisted Marine scientists with a collection of samples and data, laboratory analysis and research. Role involved bearing responsibility for the care and well-being of animals, whilst actively testing their environment to ensure a safe living space. This largely involved activities such as water quality and pH tests within snake and reptile enclosures, as well as aquatic marine life. Whilst directed, this was a largely self-guided role.
