25 years of diverse experience in the financial services sector. Experience in retail, corporate and investment banking. Worked in retail as retail products project manager and also covered Sales and Services. Treasury Management- foreign exchange sales and money market trading with Barclays Bank and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB). Spent 4 years as a Financial Institutions relationship manager across East & Southern African countries where Standard Chartered Bank has no physical presence.Also managed the Bank's relationships with Government, Multilaterals, Bilaterals as well as both banking & non-banking financial institutions in Zambia at SCB for 4 years. Worked on large capital raising structures for different types of institutions. Worked at SCB Botswana as Head, Corporate & Institutional Clients Member of country executive committee and a Director at SCB Botswana. Moved to FNB Zambia in 2015 to set up the Corporate & Investment Banking unit. The business has since grown to be a one of the leading CIB businesses in Zambia providing bespoke solutions to private and public sector corporates in the market. Currently heading Rand Merchant Bank Botswana and a member of the executive committee of First National Bank, Botswana. Professional Goals - To ultimately get into a position where I can use my expertise in the financial services sector and my knowledge of Africa to help foster development/ trade in the sub- region.
