Kalpana Pathak K.

Ms. Kalpana Pathak Kashwan is currently Executive Director of Oakmind Edutech Private Limited since February 2021. Prior to this, she worked in CBSE school as a teacher for nearly five years. She also worked in industry for five years as an Electrical and Electronics Installation Supervisor and Engineer for installation of intercom, webcams, LAN-WAN, Wi-Fi and Electrical Lines for new building and office premises. She received her Bachelor of Science degree with a Major Course in Mathematics, in 2005, from Cotton College, Guwahati, a very reputed college in north-eastern part of India. She received AMIE (equivalent Bachelor of Engineering Degree) in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2011 from Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkata. She received her Master of Engineering degree in VLSI Design from Anna University, Chennai, in 2015, with distinction and obtained a Tamil Nadu state rank position. Ms. Kalpana Pathak Kashwan did active and advanced research on FinFET transistors for very largescale integration circuits used for microprocessors and Integrated Circuits (ICs). She designed and characterized a Shorted Gate FinFET for low power circuits and systems. She used software platforms like XILINX ISE, Mentor Graphics, MATLAB and Microwind for implementing and characterising a novel structure of FinFET Transistor. She also published a research paper on the same topic. She has a passion for the school teaching and developing course contents using animations and computational technologies for easy understanding. She has extensive knowledge in computational mathematics and ICT platforms for implementing educational solutions, graphical representations and designing methods for online examination.
