Treated an array of orthopedic conditions injuries and impairments. Completed functional assessments to identify areas of concerns for the patient and to guide therapeutic exercises to achieve prior level of function. Maintained effective communication with patients, supervising Physical Therapist, and clinic management.

Assisted patients in recovery through individualized physical therapy treatments, activities and education. Commonly interacted with patients within the Cardiac and Vascular departments. Educated patients on the importance of mobility to aid in recovery, safety precautions and ways to increase activity within medical precautions.

Responsible for the direct service of Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to clients of various ages diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Daily interactions with clients and primary caregivers to provide behavior therapy services. Liaison of communication (verbal and written) between supervisor, staff and families. Collaborated with supervisors and families to create goals and plans for clients' therapy programs. Daily data collection and professionally written session notes and weekly data input. Provided support and assistance to additional therapies, such as Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, as requested by client, caregivers, supervisor or therapist.

Responsible for daily care of marine mammal collection including managing and executing diet preparation, feeding, habitat maintenance, enrichment, training and medicine distribution while supporting the guest experience. Daily guest service interactions including guest recovery, guest satisfaction and guest special moments. Developed working relationships across multiple departments. Scheduled, planned and lead animal interactions and/or procedures. Inputted daily records regarding training, health, activity, medication and diet utilizing various programs (Excel, Outlook, etc). Trained collection animals, using operant conditioning principles, on a variety of behaviors for mental stimulation, husbandry and guest interactions. Collaborated with the Veterinary Department to monitor animal health, participated in routine and emergency procedures. Served as a mentor to Assosciate Animal Care Specialist, Husbandry Assistants, and new staff members. Assisted with park wide accreditation requirements.
