- Establish and drive the strategies for assigned components and product categories to ensure business requirements are met by maximizing the leverage on company's best-in-class approved vendor list. - Maintain responsibility for commodity plans, supplier recommendation, quotation and supplier relationship mgmt. for assigned commodities and products. - Responsible for managing supply contracts and negotiate business terms, e.g. NDA, price setting, payment terms, supply flexibility, liability clauses, to support the company's best interest. - Manages cost details of the assigned commodities across various products and perform benchmarking. Execute cost down plan. - develop to robust supplier base to support the established strategies. - Lead our supplier's account team through regular supplier audits and drive process improvement through collaboration with global sourcing, Program mgmt. and other key stakeholders. - Communicate and assure compliance with the company's sourcing requirements in compliance with the Clients code of conduct and corporate values. - Identify new suppliers and new technologies to support company's new products roadmap. Act as the liaison among global sourcing, planner, SQA and production to resolve business issues. provide local support and escalation point for ad hoc supply issue. - Conduct open and regular communication with global product mgmt. planning team, SQA, ME and global sourcing team to meet the assigned goals and objectives.

-Integrate suppliers for earlier involvement for technical, quality, supply chain & product development. Designate specs, performance and reliability standards with supplier and reliability standards with suppliers. -Manage and negotiate for the best prices for tooling, testing, samples and key components in the BOM. -Co-operate with Program team to monitor suppliers for running engineering and qualification build till final product and supplier approval. -Aligning for supply chain models with suppliers and internal order fulfilling groups. -Ensure deployment of DMF, DFT & DFP. -Identify cost breakdowns, conduct benchmark and negotiate for most competitive price, terms & conditions with suppliers quarterly. -Lead VE/CIP with suppliers & internal engineering & program teams for productivity and quality improvement. -Understand market trend for key material and technology evolution. -Develop cost model and drive for saving opportunities. Std & BOM cost setup. -Lead to negotiate MSA with new suppliers for agreement of commercial, logistics and quality models per company, process MSA with legal and supplier.

-Define sourcing & supply chain strategy for product roadmap, Optimize supply base for running categories. -Facilitate cross functional teams to assess and audit candidate suppliers. -Manage overall supply base performance in terms of cost, L/T, Delivery, quality and responsiveness. -Conduct competitive analysis. -Monitor dynamics of regular FC with customer, operations & Suppliers, Identify long/short terms structural supply bottleneck & mitigate risks with strategic pan with operations and suppliers both in NPD and MP phases. -Collaborate with supplier on long L/T component buffers when necessary.
