Kaixi Hu
Social Media Marketing Intern @ DBE Logistics
About
My path bridges communication, history, and marketing. I‘ve been always passionate about blends human-centered storytelling with data-driven insight in my work. In a hands-on marketing role, I built and localized English websites for overseas audiences, partnered with design and technical teams, and ran foundational SEO work (keywords, competitor analysis, site audits). That work helped raise organic visibility and brought in more of the right visitors. In the cultural space, I led a digital storytelling series for a university museum, writing audience-friendly posts that connected artifacts to current conversations. The series helped me understand how to lift web engagement and expanded reach beyond academic circles and apply historical knowledge in a marketing aspect Teaching sharpened my communication instincts. I supported three orientation sections (180+ international students), led and facilitated small-group discussions, met weekly with faculty and to review progress, and set up simple feedback systems that improved participation and clarity. On the research side, I contributed to content-analysis projects. I coded how news reports frame, information coverage differences about mass-shooting events the U.S. I also analyzing TikTok content related to 2024 U.S President Election to understand users' behavior, contents, and relationship of content related to their bio. I’m most energized where evidence meets everyday life. Localization that actually resonates, content that invites conversation, and analytics that keep us making informed decisions.
