Developing the Trane Sales BOS for Light Commercial Unitary Replacement Business. Managing project to create strong materials and train/deploy across 11 sites. Facilitate continuous improvement efforts to decrease cycle times and increase customer satisfaction. Help develop and coach strategy A3s for various parts of the business.

* Redesigned new area layout for production line in order to reduce space, improve ergonomics and safety, as well as increase productivity and product visibility. Worked closely with other interns and engineers on multiple department moves. * Performed asset inventory, developed safety audit and assisted with ISO certification in the plant.

* Worked on a variety of sustainability research and program implementation with the Center for Energy Efficiency and Sustainability at Ingersoll Rand. * Led Global Green Team Initiative for the enterprise, doubling the number of Green Teams from 25 to 50. * Performed research and helped design enterprise approach to Life Cycle Assessments and Environmental Product Declarations. * Integral part of enterprise Sustainability Training Program design team.

* Experienced multiple job function and geographical location changes as a member of the Accelerated Development Program, for the first 2 - 3 years of employment. * Led groups of peers in Global Alignment and Green Projects teams and participated in Volunteer Program (GIVE). * Lead Penn State recruiting team for the enterprise.

Managed engineering changes, part issues, and relationships with 20+ electric component suppliers for two months during multiple new product line launches. Negotiated pricing with suppliers of direct material parts. Increased supplier warranty recovery by bridging communication gap between Warranty and Sourcing departments. Managed Windchill productivity system, which included: training Sourcing and Engineering on major system revision, maintaining data accuracy and performing data analysis for management team. Helped develop standard process for tracking productivity projects ensuring data integrity between engineering document and Windchill System. Took over buying responsibilities for 10 suppliers. Managed rusting quality issue containment to avoid customer dissatisfaction. Tracked and drove progress on 10+ tire productivity projects.

* Facilitate problem solving sessions while educating employees on lean concepts. * Coach A3 problem solving using KATA and thoughtful questioning technique * Lead teams for week long kaizen sessions (Rapid Improvement Events) * Implement, track, and sustain positive changes to manufacturing processes * Manage employee training project * Customer-centric project management

* Create recycling processes, audit processes, and standard work. * Design and implement employee training modules on sustainability and zero-waste-to-landfill concepts. * Implement projects to increase revenue on recyclables and reduce waste streams (returnable packaging, etc). * Culminated zero waste work with engagement competition to eliminate trash cans. Resulted in 57% reduction of facility trash cans.
