Completed clinical rotations in dermatology, plastic surgery, emergency medicine, pediatrics, behavioral health, internal medicine, women’s health, and family medicine. Gained hands-on experience in patient assessment, diagnostics, procedures (e.g., biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, suturing, Pap smears, I&D), surgical assistance, EMR documentation, and patient education. Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans, enhance outcomes, and address both acute and chronic health conditions across all ages. Served in a leadership role during the behavioral health rotation, training incoming students on EMR systems and clinical protocols.

Prepared examination rooms by cleaning surfaces and restocking supplies, educated patients about procedures, physician instructions, and biopsy results, scheduled appointments for patients via phone and in person, interviewed patients to obtain medical history and chief complaints, assisted in Mohs surgery and excisions, entered information into electronic charts, and relayed information from patients to physicians about concerns and condition updates to facilitate treatment.

Assist patients to perform ADL’s, examine and monitor patients regularly to detect symptoms that need medical attention, gather information on patient condition, document and report patient behaviors, complaints, and/or physical symptoms, assist patients to perform range of motion exercises and ambulate, observe patients for any changes in condition and discuss with therapy team, measure and record patient weight observing weight gain/loss trends, teach and demonstrate use of exercise equipment.
