Staff & contractor responsibility - Infrastructure Management: - Environment, Health, Safety and Security - Waste management - Project Management / Future Expansions - Production Equipment Groups Maintenance Engineering - Facility Supply Groups Maintenance - Operation Services Ensure 24/7 uninterrupted facility supply systems and production machine availability, plan and execute preventive maintenance work Responsible for Hook Up of new machines as well as plant shut down planning, further transition to predictive maintenance ongoing

Responsibility in new build organization for strategic (e.g. benchmarks, ISMI, Lean Maintenance, Zero defect maintenance) and supporting maintenance (e.g. Purchasing, Logistics, Facilities, Second Source, IT) Alignment and combination of synergies between process departments resulted in optimized head count and cost structure Active knowledge exchange with all IFX sites as well as other industry leaders. Major point of contact for ISMI and responsible Infineon interface to ISMI for energy saving and efficiency

Responsibility for Equipment Engineering and Maintenance for ~ 105 production tools, staff 114 total in high volume semiconductor production environment Overall department PVD, CVD, ASH, Ion Implant and ETCH processes
