www.kahpoon.com I'm a native of Singapore but have been working in New York City since 1995. I shoot beauty, fashion, and portraits. Graphis selected me as one of the top 100 photographers of 2012. Additionally, my work has won awards from Polariod, Communication Arts, International Photography Awards (IPA), 10 Best 10, Fuji Film, Adobe, Graphis and Hasselblad. I received a BFA in Photography from Brigham Young University in 1995. Previously, I represented BYU in the NCAA 1st division in swimming, and performed nationally and internationally with BYU’s acclaimed Ballroom Dance Company.

I moved to New York in 1995 for internships with Joyce Tenneson and Annie Leibovitz. I was later hired by Tenneson and worked with her for 4 years before branching out on my own in 1999. Some of my clients include VH1, London Fog, Ernst and young, Polaroid, Fuji Film, J. McLaughlin, West East, The New York Times and JM.
