- Design, review, and optimise the procurement process flow tailored specifically for Hyundai Singapore, ensuring seamless and efficient procurement operation. - Ensure adherence to Hyundai's group procurement policies and standards, while proactively identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency within the Singapore branch. - Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the General Procurement team. - Leverage strategic procurement expertise to provide insights and recommendations that contribute to Hyundai Singapore's overall business goals. - Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department, focusing on streamlining processes and reducing costs. - Cultivated a diverse supplier base for Hyundai Singapore's new setup through proactive outreach and on-site quality assessments. - Led diverse purchasing projects for new company setups, while ensuring adherence to budget, quality, and schedule requirements. - Develop and manage RFI, RFP and RFQ to identify the most suitable suppliers and secure favourable commercial terms for Hyundai Singapore. - Spearhead contract negotiation efforts by meticulously reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts to secure favourable terms. - Conduct thorough pricing negotiation using historical data, market research, and equipment cost breakdowns to secure the best value for Hyundai Singapore. - Serve as Subject Matter expert (SME) on procurement systems, providing training and guidance to users and suppliers.

- Utilizing the MRP system to gather purchase data, analyzing outputs/ forecast and making recommendation of material/supplies to customer before placing PO to 7 suppliers (with 600SKU), to meet company inventory level. - Developing and maintaining effective supplier relationships that support company goals of schedule reliability, reduced material lead times and delivery performance especially when there is material shortage and rescheduling required. - Reducing the risk of material shortage by providing the forecast report and backlog report daily to the SCM team for reviewing and analyzing. - Investigating and resolving the supplier issue (such as invoices, RTV issue and pricing discrepancy) and incoming shipment discrepancy/ damages from forwarder during the receiving from warehouse. - Designated as backup for the senior on reporting such as inventory report, E&O report, Inventory aging report and NED report. - Lead and coordinate with warehouse for the Monthly Cycle count, ensuring the 95% of cycle count accuracy is achieved. - Performs the UAT test to support MRP team for the system improvements.

- Material Sourcing, Planning, Purchasing, establish and selection of suppliers base - Support in Engineering build sample and ensuring production build material readiness based on MRP report. - Product BOM costing validation and sourcing for alternative parts - Carry out price analysis, Monitoring part cost, and identify parts cost reduction to ensure materials and services are acquired at best pricing. - Provides assistant to Store Management, Inventory and Logistic Supports - Responsible for order tracking, expedite and close monitor on order delivery and production schedule - Arrange the production schedule with factory and make sure they deliver on time. - Responsible for sourcing of potential supplier and visit the supplier's factory to understand more about the capability of their factory when supporting our product.

- Support the order management such as Order related enquiry management, order processing and invoicing, return and crediting. - Deliver and to ensure end to end processing within prescribed service levels in support of External/ Internal Customers. - Involved in suggesting improvements to process flows and continuously increase process effectiveness. • Review support systems requirements to meet process objectives • Review change or enhancement requests for business justification - Mentor internal operation staff if necessary - Prepare and drive key performance metrics and reports for the group and manage monthly reporting and communication to team and management - Identify, participate and lead improvements for India warehouse Sharepoint.
