As General Counsel at Sovos, I lead a global legal team supporting a PE-backed B2B SaaS company with operations across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Sovos provides compliance software to 100,000+ customers in 70+ countries, which means our legal work spans complex international requirements, high-volume commercial contracting, and the full range of challenges that come with scaling a global software business. My experience includes M&A on both buy and sell sides, debt refinancings, and major corporate transactions. This transactional foundation shapes how I approach the GC role, specifically that legal should be in the room when strategy is made, not just when documents need review. I started my career at Dechert LLP handling complex commercial litigation and government investigations across technology, financial services, and other industries.
