• Spearheaded efforts to bring acute care therapies into homecare via Hillrom Connex® digital platform, integrating mobile applications, web portal, and smart medical devices. • Drove high priority development projects to deliver breakthrough technologies like Volara™ & Synclara™ to patients globally. • Clinched SBR Designed in Singapore 2020 Award and President’s Innovation 2021 Award for patent US20210187223A1.

> Worked with cross-discipline engineering team to translate Customer Needs into verifiable product requirements. > Developed Risk Management File deliverables, including IEC 62366 (Usability Engineering), in accordance with ISO 14971

> Developed and engineered a patented laparoscopic liver resection surgical instrument which employs radiofrequency ablation technology, sharp dissection tool and blood flow sensing feedback mechanism for First-in-Human study. > Managed overall project from Proof-of-Concept through to pre-clinical large animal validation stage while documenting requirements and managing risk at design stage in preparation for CE mark and international standards application

> Developed a novel atraumatic laparoscopic cholecystectomy grasper with Mechanical Engineering knowledge and Proof-of-Concept completed in robotic da Vinci Surgical System. > Completed business plan which secured several research grants and exit opportunities from The Coulter Foundation

> Designed multiple piezoelectric wafer designs and electronics with Electrical Engineering knowledge, that utilizes surface and bulk acoustic waves to detect minute viral and bacterial pathogens. > Self-initiated new protocols and housings, increasing productivity 15-fold with Software automation such as VBA.

> Fabricated novel prototypes and test fixtures focused on the preservation of AVF for End Stage Renal Disease.
