I was an intern in the Commodities and Aerospace department. In the 3 weeks of my internship, I had the opportunity to assist with arbitration matters dealing with a wide range of contract law issues and a shipping matter regarding the BIMCO EU Ship-man ETS Allowance Clause. I also had the opportunity to give a presentation on international Arbitration to the firm. Additionally, I had the opportunity to accompany a lawyer to notorise documents.

I planned and organised the WongPartnership Transaction Competition 2024 for law students from NUS, SMU, and UKSLSS universities. This was done in partnership with WongPartnership. Additionally, I also planned, organised and moderated a M&A and TMT dialogue for the SMU law school student body to find out more about M&A and TMT practice.

I was an intern in the Shipping and International Trade Department. In the 4 weeks of my internship, I had the opportunity to assist with a wide range of admiralty and shipping matters spanning multiple areas of the law. Additionally, I had the opportunity to accompany my mentor to a case conference.

I was an intern in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. In the 4 weeks of my internship, I had the opportunity to assist with a wide range of matters which include: Criminal Law, Contract Law, Tax evasion, Crypto scams, Arbitration, and more. Additionally, I had the opportunity to accompany my mentors to court to attend Plead Guilty Mentions which was an eye opening experience.

During my 2 week internship, I assisted lawyers with their tasks and cases spanning different areas of the law. I also had the opportunity to attend Court mentions and hearings with lawyers.

I worked at UOB as a Customer Service Officer at their contact center. I provide support and help to customers who call in for help. I specialize in credit cards and helped customers who called in regarding those matters.

This is part of my National Service. I was a Third Sergeant and served as a Reconnaissance Team Commander after passing out from Command School. From this experience, I was able to learn to be a better team player, as I had to work with many people from many diverse backgrounds. I also learn to be more organized as in my line of work, I had to deal with a high flow of information, and the only way for me to keep up is to stay as organized as possible. As a commander, I also managed to hone my leadership skills while leading my men, setting a good example for them to follow, exercising my command and control, as well as working effectively alongside them.

During my studies at this institution, I was on the Honour Roll for my excellent performance in all major examinations. With that, I received the Mrs Grace Ballas Scholarship in 2019. I graduated with 4 distinctions in my GCE A Levels examination.
