As a passionate traveller and marketing professional in 2006 Justine combined her love of travel with her marketing experience to found, Encounter Travel. Encounter Travel has won three travel awards including the most recent Specialist Wholesaler The Travel Awards 2019. Justine is also the author of The Solo Traveller's Compass, How to Travel Solo but Not Alone Justine has travelled to 70 countries. Justine's trips have varied from leisure to business, from travel on a shoestring to luxury escapes, short jaunts to extended journeys and, a highlight of all her travels, living in Central America while learning Spanish. Justine is an advocate for all solo travellers and wants to empower everyone that finds themself 'short a travel buddy' to take a leap of faith and experience the wonderful world of travel.
