Set up and dismantled event venues, ensuring all materials were organized and returned. Led introductions, ice-breakers, and speed-dating sessions while coordinating with venue staff. Provided attendee support, resolved issues, and maintained a welcoming environment.

I have graduated from St. Francis Xavier University, with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing.

Over the course of two months, I joined the team behind the Antigonish Jazz Fest to manage their Facebook and Instagram (Meta) profiles, crafting and scheduling posts to promote the event. Utilizing Canva, I created various content including artist spotlights, ticket giveaways, and thank-you messages, along with designing the festival brochure. During the festival itself, I actively contributed by capturing photos and videos to share on social media in real time.

During the past summer, I worked in the 1 Air Maintenance Squadron’s LPO oce on the 4 Wing Cold Lake base in Alberta. I mainly worked with financials; use of SAPGUI, ordering, communicating with vendors and requestors to ensure the best quality order is delivered, and security form draft ups. But I also assisted in organizational aspects, and in other sections if help was needed.

While working at Sportchek, I’ve learned how to further my communication and customer service skills by being much more involved and “in the environment” with customers and their needs.

For about two and a half years, I had been working at Mcdonald’s learning more about customer service and handling transactions. I was also a crew trainer for about a year during my time at McDonald’s.
