I teach portrait painting in acrylics out of my home studio, with a focus on the indirect method used by the Dutch masters such as Rembrandt. In each lesson I do a live demonstration of technique, offer constructive feedback and analysis of students' work, and most importantly, inspire artistic self-confidence and a passion for art in highly-motivated, independent students, as well as imparting a strong competence in traditional portraiture techniques.

Learned about conducting a criminal trial before a jury as I shadowed a barrister acting as a prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service in a week-long trial. Provided critical observations int he course of assisting in transcribing witness examinations, and made highly insightful observations from the evidence that greatly furthered the prosecution's position in the trial.

I learned about the legal concepts underpinning the common law system, gaining a grasp of precedents, duty of care, criminal intent and procedure, and other key ideas. I applied this knowledge through analyzing cases and constructing arguments, and perhaps most memorably, presenting them to Judge Frederica Massiah-Jackson of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas in moot court.
