About
I am currently working as an Tooling Engineer at East Jordan Plastics Inc designing thermoforming tools and injection molds. I was a Toolmaker at East Jordan Plastics Inc for 9 years before going back to school and being internally promoted to my current position which helped me out a lot with knowing our tooling. Before becoming a Engineer I was CNC machinist/Toolmaker for 16 years in programming, setup and operation of mills and lathes. I was also in the Army for 6 years as a Infantryman and deployed to Afghanistan in 2012, towards the end of my time I was promoted to a team leader within our platoon. I enjoy troubleshooting floor/tooling issues and getting the problem resolved and people able to come to me or ask me questions so I can teach them as well as answering their questions. The most important thing I love about the work I do is that I get to constantly learn and improve my skills.
