Extensive experience representing individuals and corporate clients in a variety of employment and family-based immigration matters. Practice involves a wide range of complex immigration issues related to nonimmigrant visas, family-sponsored immigrant petitions, including green cards, visas, and citizenship/naturalization, employment, entertainment, and investor applications, removal/deportation proceeding defense, I-9 compliance audits, adjustment of status, asylum, and immigration appeals. Advise employers on all aspects of visas for new hires and green card sponsorship for retention of their current employees. Also represent individuals in obtaining the appropriate visas for their specific needs, as well as drafting applications and preparing clients for legal permanent residence and citizenship/naturalization. Work with clients to devise strategies so that they can successfully navigate career changes, reunify with family members, and overcome grounds of inadmissibility by utilizing waivers.

Represented clients in litigation matters with emphasis in the following areas: civil and commercial litigation; immigration and nationality petitions and litigation before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Executive Office of Immigration Review, and the Board of Immigration Appeals; insurance coverage and litigation; and contractual and corporate litigation.

Represented major insurers in litigation over high face value insurance policies related to property and casualty disputes, secondary market for life insurance, stranger-originated life insurance (STOLI), long-term care (LTCi) actions, policy lapse, rescission, and other complicated coverage issues; advised clients regarding regulatory, claims, and coverage related matters; successfully resolved issues related to abandoned and unclaimed property for state governments; drafted long-term care claim coverage analysis memorandum for prominent LTCi carriers; litigated in federal courts and state courts nationwide; managed all phases of pretrial litigation including drafting discovery, motions, and trial briefs.

Represented business entities in insurance defense matters in the areas of commercial litigation, complex construction, products liability, premises liability, workers' compensation, insurance coverage disputes, and toxic tort litigation including asbestos; litigated in federal court, state court and municipal court in New Jersey and Pennsylvania; drafted discovery, motions and trial and appellate briefs; composed coverage letters and policy analysis for insurers; depose parties, fact and expert witnesses; and liaised with counsel for purposes of case management.

Provided legal representation to the Division of Youth and Family Services; litigated Guardianship trials and Fact Finding trials in the Superior Court of New Jersey; presented biweekly case reviews in Superior Court; prepared agency opinions, legal memoranda and trial and appellate briefs; and provided day-to-day counseling regarding the scope, legal effect, and constitutionality of state and federal laws.

Performed legal research; made recommendations to Judge regarding dispositions of motions, both verbally and via written memoranda; drafted, edited and proofread legal correspondence; attended and assisted with case conferences, motion hearings, trials; and mediated small claims cases.
