Set up stocking agreements with several suppliers, improving on-time delivery from ~94% to 98%+. Developed potential growth suppliers and helped them outline strategies to become better aligned with company goals.

In addition to normal buying duties, given responsibility for indirect spend projects involving Logistics and Information Services: Renegotiated Canadian warehouse distribution facilities saving $75k. Supported continuous improvement department through Kaizen activities and six sigma practices for ongoing projects. Worked closely with other departments to develop alternative source and mitigate shortages to the production line. -Logistics chaos from 2010 Eyjafjallajökull eruption disrupted expedited shipments from India and congested options from China
