After more than a decade implementing/managing the PeopleSoft HCM at Queen's, I moved over to the Campus Solutions team so that I may expand my knowledge of PeopleSoft as a whole, and learn the ins and outs of the Student Lifecycle. My roles and responsibilities include aiding in the planning and design of updates, upgrades, interfaces and enhancements to our system, as well as writing code for new reports, interfaces and enhancements. I also troubleshoot delivered items such as COBOLs and SQRs. I am a mentor to three other developers in the CS area, and work with the PeopleSoft Human Resources and Finance analysts on cross-disciplinary items. I frequently coordinate with other units within IT Services, as well as with the Registrar's Office and our Schools to work towards our common goals.

I am the lead Systems Analyst for Queen's University's PeopleSoft HCM system. My role is that of a technical advisor as to what PeopleSoft can and cannot do. I aid in the planning and design of updates, upgrades and enhancements to our system, as well as writing code for new reports, interfaces and enhancements. I also troubleshoot delivered items such as COBOLs and SQRs. I supervise two other developers in the HR area, and work with the Campus Solutions and Finance analysts on cross-disciplinary items.

I am on the sustainment team for our newly-deployed PeopleSoft HR system. I assist the business analysts with the technical solutions to their problems, as well as develop new reports, interfaces and enhancements. I also troubleshoot delivered items such as COBOLs and SQRs.

Worked in the HR department as a programmer (writing HR-oriented PHP apps) and data analyst (extracting and reporting on payroll and HR data). Moved to the team responsible for deploying PeopleSoft HR in Jan 2010.
