About
I am a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for medical device product development. Over the course of the past 5+ years, I’ve worked on mechanical design and manufacturability of novel electromechanical products, failure modes effects analysis, tolerance analysis, and verification test fixture development.I’ve been responsible for verification testing across multiple product lines, drafting verification protocols and reports, and have experience designing Injection Molded, machined, and electromechanical components that leverage software for FDA submission and product launch.I have skills in CAD via SolidWorks, simulation, and hands on experience with various machining processes, injection molding, and rapid prototyping via 3D printing.My past experience includes working as a Mechanical Engineer II with Abbott’s Heart Failure Division, an R&D Engineering Co-Op with Abbott, a Systems Engineering Intern at Ultima Genomics, a Mechanical Engineering Tutor, and a Manufacturing Processes Teaching Assistant. Interested in new product development, mechanical design including electronics, and NPI manufacturing within the Medical Device and Biotechnology industries.
