- Identify suitable supplier at China & make evaluation to introduce to current supplier chain. - Identify potential cost savings and work on cost reduction by new sourcing benchmark activity or alternative parts qualification. - Manage exist critical sub-contractor to control total cost of ownership with cost BOM, including material cost, assembly/labour cost, delivery cost. - Monitor critical supplier capability and capacity to check schedules of order fulfillment. - Localize new material/supplier for project transition from US or Europe to Asia. To support new product/design development from engineering for cost reduction purpose & conform to local standard. - Work close with Global IPO team in Singapore, Malaysia &US for assign of sourcing task.

- Evaluating the quality system on new supplier, and collect the result of engineering and purchasing department, issue supplier assessment audit report. - Audit the key supplier or bad quality supplier termly on quality system and process, to make sure their equipments, process and quality system is effective to control production quality. - Review supplier quality record termly; request supplier provided effective action and continuous improvement. - Cooperate with engineering department to do process improving, and improve production yield rate. - Work out inspection instruction for inhouse inspector and source inspector at supplier side.
