I am an incoming assistant professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta in Canada. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, working with Prof. Craig Shultz. Before joining, I worked as a post-doc at the ETRI, a national research lab in Korea. I earned my Ph.D. in ME from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). My research interests include haptics, soft robotics and human-robot interaction.
