Edward Keller Philippines, Inc. is a business unit under DKSH, the leading food manufacturing company with more than 120 years of business experience. Samsung Electro-Mechanics is a South Korean electronics subsidiary of the Samsung Group that manufactures electronics components. The company produces multi-layer ceramic capacitor (MLCC), tantalum capacitor, inductor and chip resistor which are commonly used in electronic gadgets. • Handled pellet welding machine in the production of tantalum capacitor. Attended machine downtime and provided corrective action to sustain line and achieve daily production output target. • Monitors product dimension in compliance to the internal specification thus prevent rejection from succeeding process. • Led the pellet welding process, including technicians and operators, in active involvement in increasing productivity by keeping machine in top working condition to avoid breakdowns as a Total Productive Maintenance coordinator of the process. • Conducted cross-process audits along with the Quality Assurance Engineers, and supervised the operators in daily update of machine checklist. • Obtained Six Sigma White Belt as prerequisite to become regular member of the organization. • Oversaw 5S within the premise of pellet welding shop floor.
