About

As a Founder and Principal since April 2025, I collaborate and co-create with clients to drive sociocultural and behavioral change communication processes using a multi-dimensional, multi-layered, and multi-modal socioecological framework. My work focuses on trauma transmutation + total health transformation; whole-system + people growth; adaptive change + repair; sustainable relationship health and well-being through empathic relational communication; and dedicated + trans-sector action + impact w systems thinking 4 people by people With over 20+ years of cumulated experience as research + teaching faculty at R1 and private universities combined and a soft-funded research-scientist practitioner across applied context (including, but not limited to: applied gerontology in caregiving relationship, oncology survivorship in overburdened and underserved populations, and opioid misuse/abuse and mortality outcomes + system supports), I bring expertise in trauma survivorship and health communication to empower individuals, relationships, and communities to advance total health and wellbeing in underserved, overburdened populations and communities. My professional mission and personal passion is to support whole human health; trauma transmutation + integration; and self-leadership transformation, enabling meaningful and high-impact outcomes in both personal and professional contexts as it relates to physical health and well being. I have a PhD in brain and behavior science, Masters in communication studies, and Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in psychosocial oncology, with particular emphasis on community-partnered research + survivorship foci to advance health equity I have also worked in the health insurance industry, as well as served in industrial organizational capacities to support high-performing executives and C-suite in healthcare for process and people improvement initiatives and leadership development. There are a number of needs in our communities as well as a number of related, layered, and multidimensional aspects to the work. I am trained as an applied psychologist at the interaction of lifespan developmental psych, interpersonal/group/mass, org & health communication (multimodal), psychosocial oncology with community-based research partnerships and have worked on a number of real-world at scale projects to support vulnerable, underserved, overburdened populations and communities. I have taught professional students across disciplines in health communication for over 15 years & worked in industry, academia, and behavioral medicine.
