Project Engineer responsible for bidding and assisting with preparation of subcontractor contracts, obtaining subcontractor submittals, estimating and preparing owner change orders, maintaining overall project schedule and completing monthly cost and status reports for commercial construction projects.

Investigated and assessed the structural condition of existing retail, industrial, high-rise, parking and multi-family structures. Wrote investigation reports detailing findings, conclusions and repair recommendations. Prepared repair drawings and provided construction management services during repair work.

Structural engineer for various projects including a dam consisting of a 500 foot concrete overflow spillway with a 500 foot gated spillway, a multiple span steel bridge, a two-span prestressed concrete multiple box beam bridge, various structures required for temporary shoring, bridge jacking and excavation support. Analyzed field notes and prepared inspection reports for various bridges and potable water tanks.

Project Manager for preconstruction and construction of commercial office, retail, governmental and residential high end construction projects. Responsible for management of A/E firms, estimating projects, providing value engineering, preparing space plans in AutoCAD, subcontractor bidding and negotiation, material pricing and procurement, change orders, monthly cost reports, cost and schedule tracking.

Increased responsibilities for daily company business decisions in addition to previous Project Manager responsibilities. Responsible for federal government contract proposals, bidding and management of awarded projects. Responsible for estimating and managing individual task orders issued under several Federal Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) currently held by J&B Builders, Inc.
