Let me begin by sharing one of my favorite quotes from an anonymous source: “No one is going to hand me success. I must go out and get it myself. That’s why I’m here—to dominate, to conquer, both the world and myself.” These are the words I’ve been repeating to myself all along. And yes, they resonate deeply. I am the artist of my story, the designer of my life, and the author of my own book. I may not be a professional artist, designer, or author, but there is always room for me to grow, learn, and be inspired by those who are experienced, professional, and inspiring, adding color to my own obra maestra. Failures? Challenges? Absolutely! I welcome them with open arms. Bring it on! I say this because I am a fighter. These words keep me going. They ignite a fire within me and awaken the courage that lies dormant inside. I won’t pretend that I don’t get emotional. I do. But—and there’s always a but—I always come back to those lines. No one is going to hand me success. I can’t achieve it by sitting in a corner, waiting for years for someone to reach out and give me a piece of bread. No, that’s not how it works. I must rise from every fall, hold my head high, and declare: I will conquer it all! Positivity is within me. Courage surrounds me. Passion and desire strengthen me, and humility grounds me. And with the support of those who are willing to walk alongside me in this journey, I am not afraid to say: I can conquer and dominate both the world and myself.
