I worked as a LPN in the Intensive Care and Stepdown Units. I was be the nurse on duty performing treatments, getting hourly vitals, following other orders as they came. We also were changing in 1984 into a renal unit and were doing dialysis on a small scale.

I worked as the Assistant Preschool Teacher for a facility that had an on campus daycare. We would start off our learning day with the Pledge of Allegiance and from there our learning day would continue with colors, numbers, letters and songs. We combined fun with learning with crafts and outside on campus excursions. Keeping smiles on their faces .... makes learning a burning memory!!

The year that I carried mail I carried as a substitute. So if a carrier had a day off, was on vacation or was sick I was a fill. It was a good way to learn the city for my job that was to come.....a distribution clerk.

I handle daily business accounts, open and close PO Boxes daily - we have just added a small nearby town to our PO Box daily work. I also handle bulk business mail on an as needed basis. These duties come with the sorting of mail, returning and forwarding mail, and working the front window in sales.
