Managerial responsibility for all aspects related to the managed care analytical and reporting requirements of Dignity Health hospitals and medical groups, primarily in the Arizona and Nevada service areas. Provides input regarding the operations of the analytical team as well as policies, procedures, and budget. Integral member of Dignity Health’s negotiation team.

Responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of managed care contracts for hospitals in the Arizona, Nevada and California markets. Primary duties include producing contract performance reports, modeling reimbursement rates, evaluating financial contract modifications and compiling and monitoring key managed care statistics.

* Part of the healthcare consulting practice that focused on providing solutions for commercial payer and federal government sectors. * Primarily assigned to engagements that involved the design and evaluation of provider reimbursement systems, measurement of healthcare costs and the development of methods to collect and analyze healthcare financial and utilization data. * Research areas included reimbursement rates, healthcare payment regulations and health policy issues. * Conducted reimbursement-related research and cost accounting studies for various biomedical products and pharmaceuticals. * Provided assistance on various litigation cases related to healthcare provider disputes.
