Julian XIANG

Julian is a 22-year-old master’s student at Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering, with his undergraduate studies completed at the University of Nottingham. He has a strong passion for AI applications, product design, and manufacturing, which led him to pursue advanced studies in Mechanical Engineering at Duke. Over the past few years, Julian has been involved in several significant projects, including designing a card-based educational game, and developing an electrical glove to assist stroke patients in rehabilitation. Julian has collaborated with multiple companies, including Decathlon and American Tourist, contributing to the design and testing of bicycles and suitcases.He has developed numerous skills like 3D modeling, coding, rendering, sketching, and prototyping. He is now pursuing opportunities in mechanical design, medical devices, or robotics to build impactful engineering solutions.
