Designed and implemented a multi-threaded dynamic allocation system optimized for CUDA workloads, and introduced a custom bit-packing strategy that reduced dynamic allocation overhead by 5x, increased max addressable memory by 8x, and got speed ups of over 2000x in certain benchmarks. Won Blue Ribbon Award for our work.
