About

A native of New Orleans, I am currently a Corps member serving at Joseph S. Clark High School, one of two public high schools in New Orleans open to African-American students pre-integration. I serve as an Academic Interventionist managing online credit recovery courses for seniors and reading and lexile growth for juniors . I have a B.A of English Literature from Louisiana State University. I dedicated the year after graduation to serving as a Student Activities Associate at Thrive Academy Baton Rouge as a part of Louisiana Delta Service Corps. There I realized education and children are my passion and career intention. I am a cheerful, driven and passionate person who finds greater fulfillment in helping others reach their goals and providing children and young adults with the opportunity to pursue their dreams. In my future endeavors, I hope to utilize my accrued experience in the AmeriCorps program to advocate for equal access to education and social services.
