I was appointed as Glyndebourne's first ever Composer-in-Residence, set up as a collaborative doctorate with Sussex University. During the three years of my residency I completed three operas: the youth opera 'Knight Crew', chamber opera 'The Yellow Sofa' and the site-specific promenade opera 'Followers'

I've devised and established Wigmore Study Group linking three study afternoons to a single concert, drawing musicians, musicologists and Guildhall School student performers. The project has been running continuously for nearly fifteen years with topics including Chopin’s Piano Music (2014), The Songs of Hugo Wolf (2013), Beethoven’s Late Quartets (2013) or Stravinsky’s The Soldier’s Tale (2012).
