* Worked in the Fish & Invertebrate Ecology Lab (Dr. Anson Hines and Dr. Matthew Ogburn, PIs) * Collaborated on projects with the SERC marine and estuarine labs, including the Marine Invasions Lab and the Marine Disease Ecology Lab * Assisted in field research, including near-shore surveys, trawling, predation surveys, oyster reef restoration, specimen collection, and fish identification * Analyzed data from the Chesapeake Bay Barcode Initiative (CBBI) and presented a PowerPoint of my findings to the SERC research community * Edited specimen photographs for CCBI

* Worked in entomology lab of Dr. Scott Miller, Deputy Under Secretary for Collections and Interdisciplinary Support * Analyzed DNA barcode data from the Global Malaise Trap project using R and Excel and generated summary statistics * Modeled arthropod abundance and diversity based on weather data * Summarized findings for future research paper * Identified invertebrates based on their COI-5P gene sequences * Processed specimens for DNA barcoding * Curated Lepidoptera and other arthropod specimens in the museum’s collection
