Summer internship held during the exchange program (science without borders) at the University of Guelph, Canada. The project was carried out in partnership with MacMaster University where a robot prototype was developed that helps paraplegics in daily activities such as brushing teeth, face washing and shaving. In the first stage I developed a tool in a 3D software (SolidWorks) and, using the process of rapid prototyping (3D Printing), a tool was built that helps the robot to perform the tasks. In the second stage of the process, I programmed the robot using Phyton language so that it would be able to shave a person without the need for movements of the arms, hands or head.
