I was responsible for the Training and Development function for the Trust, commissioning training programmes, facilitating organisational development work and providing strategic direction around Learning and Organisational Development.

To design and deliver training including Disability Awareness, Equality and Diversity, How to Make Your Equality Training Fun and the Practice Managers Development Programme

I was responsible in partnership with the Staff Side Lead for agreeing training delivery of the team of trainers and reporting back to the SHA. I worked across 3 SHA areas including Merseyside and Greater Manchester, both delivering training and sitting on antenna for change panels

* provide strategic expertise to the CSU and 8 CCGs in Lancashire * develop equality objectives, strategies and engagement with seldom heard groups * Project manage annual EDS grading including; training local people as grading panels for EDS & supporting CCGs with their EDS grading * undertake equality analysis and support others across CSU and CCGs

Providing strategic leadership to the Board and acting as critical friend to the Local Authority.

I provide strategic support to organisations on behalf of the University of Central Lancashire. I also provide comprehensive Training for boards and staff at all levels of the organisation on behalf of the University iwthin my role.

This was a leadership and management level 4 qualification in Equality & Diversity

I undertook the traditional nurse training gaining my Registered Nurse qualification in July 1985

Dissertation titled “An Evaluation of Patient Centred Service Redesign”, 2007. Published in UCLAN Library 2007. Received MA with Merit in Equality & Diversity in 2007.
