"What should I do when co-workers are in conflict?" In over a quarter-century of training and coaching, I've seen dozens of managers and leaders struggle with this question. As a conflict and communication skills professional, I work closely with managers of small businesses and corporate teams. Using the martial art Aikido as metaphor and skill-building method, I help clients experience how to work with the energy of conflict instead of struggling against it, as well as how to direct emotional energy in purposeful ways. My name is Judy Ringer. I'm an author, organizational trainer, and coach, and I help groups and individuals increase power and presence under pressure. Might I help you? I offer conflict and communication skills training on the Aikido mat, in the classroom, and virtually in the comfort of the participant's environment. You decide how active you want to be. Working with businesses to achieve workplace harmony is the heart of what I do. I do this through experiential, interactive training and keynote presentations on conflict and communication skills using the martial art Aikido. I've authored two books designed to help people work through workplace conflict: "Turn Enemies into Allies: The Art of Peace in the Workplace," and "Unlikely Teachers: Finding the Hidden Gifts in Daily Conflict." My conflict and communication skills training is offered internationally with experiential workshops based on mind/body principles from the martial art Aikido. Employing best practice communication models, I bring to life key concepts such as communication training and appreciation of other viewpoints.
