About

Having recently retired from the military after 23 years of service (the last ten of which were in Disaster Preparedness/Readiness/Emergency Management), and completing my Master of Art degree in Emergency and Disaster Management, I am taking a breather to enjoy life for a while. However, I am not letting any of my training or skills go to waste and am doing volunteer work for the EMA/Homeland Security Agency here in Elmore County Alabama. It is not an issue of whether I go to work full time or simply work part-time, I just want to stay involved in EM and assist where I can.
