At work: Passionate about preserving the legacy of Arts and Cultural programming that has been a proud part of the Temple Emanu-El heritage. Creating opportunities for others to be creative and to come together as doers, watchers, and listeners. Ensuring that we acknowledge and honor our older members throughout Temple programming and preserving the museum and archives collection for the oldest synagogue in San Francisco. At play: Parody lyrics - especially Purimshpiels; taught the Image of Jews in American Film and Television; have produced, written and directed parody musicals; and an annual sketch comedy show. Taught a Jews and Humor course in the Spring with the funny rabbi, will be teaching SF Jewish history to kids and their parents in the Fall.
