Judd Demaline

My name is Judd, I'm a commercial/editorial/fashion photographer and videographer. In 2005, my small town Ohio roots broke way to big city life by way of a camera and a dream. Shaped by salt of the Earth people who taught me a strong work ethic and heart, I cut my teeth in commercial studios, bringing a beginner's mind and an eager attitude to as many pro sets as I could, gleaning expert insights that built on the foundation I received in photography school. After nearly 20 years in the field, I believe the strongest asset I bring to the table is being a hybrid creator, bringing a multifaceted approach to stills + motion creation with a willingness to jump in to the ring in whatever capacity is needed and creating outside-of-the box campaigns. I never let go of that beginner's mind and I think it's served me well. I've produced and shot for television, international commercial ad campaigns, magazines, and documentaries for non profits. I'm that guy who takes at least two cameras wherever I go. I'm fascinated by the digital realm that has become part of our daily reality and how mixing medias of stills + motion can help facilitate a larger story to explore. I was the director of highly effective content creation team for an international brand for five years and I've been a part of numerous projects from inception to completion. The more a creative is allowed to be a part of the process, the more they can understand the project and tell the story in a genuine and compelling way. I believe it's important to put all of myself into everything that I do, and my sense of adventure and curiosity always influence the shot. The best day of my life was a Friday morning. My wife gave birth to our daughter. They both taught me that patience, discipline, and actively listening are the gateways for success. Above all, they've taught me about love... if you love what you do, it will love you back.
