Industrial Engineering Manager METSO is the largest supplier of Mill Lining products in the world, with branches in all world, providing solutions and innovations in its products. In Chile has a rubber plant with a capacity of 2500 tons/year of rubber and 2500 tons/year of AR steel. 120 workers.; Reporting to operation manager. Oriented to give solutions of engineering in the design, develop, manufacture and assembly of mil lining parts Responsabilities: Technical management of rubber plant in concón. Under his resposability are engineers, technical and specialist draftmans. Furthermore the Quality department is under his charge. To promote and develop solutions for manufature units, with propose of standarize the activities that guarantee the best quality with lower cost, including lay out, SMED analysis, new technologies of manufacture, equipments and methods. To Coordinate with sales department the development of new products, materials, and follow up of trials. To develop new suppliers of welding and machining within Valparaiso and Santiago areas in order to increase the offer of steel reinforcement, cast steel and attachement parts. To coordinate research and development activities with technical office in Ersmark (Sweeden), using Finite Element Analysis, Destructive Ensayes and trials.

Oriented to coorintae all aspect of QA/QC of products and services of the company. Responsabilities: Management and quality control of WEIR for all plants of Chile and Peru, in the manufacture of centrifugal pumps, hydrocyclones, industrial valves, spool lined in rubber and polyurethane, and equipments for mining industries. QA/QC plan, failure analysis, feedback for designs and process control of rubber plant, shop machining, foundry and poliurethanes Implementation of Lean Manufacturing for continuous improvement.
