Led Moldflow simulations for automotive interior parts, optimizing filling, pressure, cooling, and manifold layouts while translating results into actionable design and tooling improvements. Supported mold design reviews, tool trials, RFQs, DFM evaluations, and tooling feasibility for engineering changes, coordinating modifications with external suppliers and toolmakers. Successfully managed 15+ mold engineering changes with zero major quality escapes, resolved a critical weld-ribs issue through Moldflow root cause analysis, and presented recognized work on thermo-mechanical validation of decorative injection molding at the first Moldflow Congress in Mexico.

Participated in mold design reviews, internal tryouts, FMEAs, and first mold validations in the toolroom, while managing repairs and engineering changes through CAD/CAM technologies. Supported preventive and corrective maintenance of injection molds and used CAE tools to analyze failures and improve injection molding processes. Successfully executed internal engineering changes that increased tool availability and project revenue, and helped deploy A3 methodology to strengthen continuous improvement within the department.

Participated in the purchasing processes for the mold workshop, applied IATF and ISO 14001 standards in the department, and managed the inventory and usage of spare parts and consumables. Also created KPIs, procedures, and administrative controls. As achievements, I designed and deployed a CMMS system based on an online app and developed suppliers to solve everyday mold issues.

I was responsible for calculating and ensuring the metric KPIs, as well as participating in the management of the mold workshop, including budget, spare parts, personnel, and equipment. As achievements, I managed the installation of a new ultrasonic mold cleaning machine and improved preventive maintenance activities through the standard work methodology.
