I have more than 20 years of legal and senior management experience advising corporate executives, audit committees and board directors on legal, compliance, risk and business strategies. My legal career includes over a decade of investigations and trial experience as a federal prosecutor in New Jersey, followed by nine years of high profile roles as in-house counsel and chief compliance officer at Schering-Plough, Kos Pharmaceuticals and Sepracor (now Sunovion Pharmaceuticals). While in the pharma industry, I managed internal investigations, litigation, and compliance and internal audit programs and provided ongoing advice to executive management and audit committees. In 2010, I returned to private practice, where I represented individuals and companies in government investigations and enforcement actions, including financial and healthcare fraud, corruption and foreign bribery cases. My practice was focused on pharmaceutical, medical device, and healthcare fraud and abuse matters, and I defended dozens of clients in qui tam/whistleblower litigation and related white collar/government investigation matters. In 2019, I returned to industry, serving as the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer for Syneos Health LLC, a global clinical and commercial contract research organization.
