I have been working on small drone technologies for over thirteen years, addressing markets in agriculture, infrastructure, military and beyond. I am the CEO and founder of GreenSight. GreenSight has built a data intelligence platform that uses automated drones to gather daily imagery and deliver actionable information to customers. Over the last few years we have conducted over 8000 flights with the system, making us one of the highest volume drone services providers in the world. GreenSight is also developing autonomous aircraft for a variety of agricultural, commercial and military applications, and conducts product-centriic R&D for the US Department of Defense and dozens of innovative enterprise and commercial customers. I was a founding member of the team which originated the Skate SUAS product concept. Our team developed the concept then executed the design, marketing and sales of the product. With continued market traction the company funded the product through to completion. The product was purchased by the US military in 2013 and utilized in Afghanistan supporting both Air Force and Army ground operations. I personally deployed to Afghanistan to support the training and maintenance of the systems in country. The Skate product led to the creation of a new small unmanned aerial vehicle business division at Aurora Flight Sciences.
