UK operating company of Sateba Group, a PE backed French multinational focussed on pre-cast concrete rail infrastructure. Turnover of £70m across 2 divisions, Large infrastructure projects and pre-cast concrete pipes. Interim assignment to stabilise 1 division and support the sale of the other to a trade buyer.

The Cement and Lime BU is a large multi-site national business operating across the UK manufacturing, importing and distributing cement, lime, aggregates and waste recycling (T/O £400m). Tarmac was acquired by CRH plc (Dual listed LSE & Dublin) in 2015. Division Finance Director, part of both the Cement & Lime BU Leadership team and the Tarmac Finance Leadership team. Business partner to the BU MD; responsible for all of the BU Finance activities and supporting / leading business wide projects.

Aggregate and asphalt joint-venture between Tarmac and Hanson UK (£70m T/O). Seconded to the JV as FD, responsible for Finance, IT, Legal and Company Secretarial.

Heavy building materials division of LSE listed Anglo American Plc. Head-office role with responsibility for divisional consolidation, reporting and ad-hoc accounting / finance projects.

LSE listed pharmaceutical and consumer goods multinational. Completed 3 consecutive interim assignments in corporate accounting and external reporting working on specific IFRS accounting charges and the published group accounts.

South African subsidiary of Engelhard Corporation (NYSE Listed), manufacturing automotive catalytic converters for the OEM Market. Reporting to the country FD responsible for all of finance, including accounting, tax, cash, Fx hedging and SOX implementation.

Completed training contract in audit, with clients across a number of manufacturing sectors (textiles, packaging and automotive). Followed by a ‘Busy Season’ secondment to the USA.
